I know, hate is a strong word. I don't really "hate" it. Overall, it is a good holiday, fun, but there are reasons I dislike it:
1. You can't tell when people are being serious, or when it's all a joke. The whole day is filled with thoughts of, "When are they going to say April Fools?" and "Is this a joke, or for real?"
2. You have to come up with a prank. Help me! I am horrible at pranks. I can pull them off just fine, but thinking of them is so hard.
3. Every time you open a door you're afraid a bucket of water is going to fall on your head. Every time you sit down you expect a fake fart to blow up. Okay, no one does those pranks anymore, but still, every where you turn you are expecting a prank.
4. When you do pull that prank you had been planning all day, it either goes well, or it doesn't. Most likely the latter. Someone gets mad, no one finds it funny, or you give yourself up somehow. There is too much stress with pulling an April Fools prank.
Do you like April Fools Day? Why or why not? (Wow, that sounds like a question from a homework assignment)
